The Glacier Ice Arena

It didn’t take long for the cool air of The Glacier Ice Arena to blow a fresh breeze through Western Colorado. Over the past two years, The Glacier has had more than 200,000 visitors sliding across its 85’ x 200’ sheet of ice. More than 350 hockey players team up for The Glacier’s in-house leagues and 75 figure skaters take their turns under the careful direction of professional staff coaches.

Ice skating is the nation’s fastest growing participant sport and Grand Valley skaters of all ages and abilities have enjoyed circling the rink, while others have taken their skates a step further and sought private lessons, joined summer camps, figure skating clubs, hockey leagues, and entered competitions. Cool Camp is a skating day camp for the beginner skater and all levels in between! Emphasis is on fun while learning or improving skating skills. Fully supervised, indoor & outdoor activities with low counselor to skater ratio. Fun jam packed days loaded with activities in a safe, controlled enviroment!

Full & half days offered with early drop off & late pickup available

FREE FAMILY SKATE NIGHTS

The Glacier will be hosting Free Family Skate Nights the first Tuesday of every month, 6:40-8pm. Free admission and rentals, dinner specials, and a great family atmosphere.
